CCPS SummerT.I.M.E.

Applications will close Sunday, April 3, 2022

CCPS SummerT.I.M.E. (Thrive, Inspire, Motivate and Engage) is an enrichment opportunity that allows students to experience the Georgia Standards of Excellence through a real-world context. The purpose is to address acceleration and/or remediation needs in Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies through an integrated curriculum design approach for grades K-11 using the lens of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) while developing skills employers and colleges are looking for in a STEM literate individual.   The various programs that are part of the SummerT.I.M.E. Learning Camps are:  STEM Camps, Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) - Math and Literacy Support Program, and Advanced Learning for All (ALA). Each program reflects high levels of engagement that supports critical thinking, problem solving, community/civic engagement, design thinking, systems thinking and innovation in order to solve a real world problem or apply integrated content understandings to develop new ideas, products or creative expressions.  During the summer experience, students also have a chance to develop fundamental literacy skills through repeated opportunities to read, write, speak, and listen to others as they develop, test, and refine solutions to a problem using the appropriate technical language and writing found in various STEM fields.
